solely looking at the comp, one might get that "fear".
As pointed earlier, friday's action on comp was a failure, but it could just be a minor pullback.

However, my point of view, is spx hitting new highs, and dow is on an overall uptrend. Thus you have the broadening of the market, rather than weakeness. banks and retails are coming off bottoms. SOX still strong. Breath of the market last week was very favorable (more on the NYSE vs. NAZ)

Old techs seem to be doing fine, while the new techs are consolidating/basing.

I cannot see a major correction in April since my indicators do not go out that far. We will see how this Q's earnings are.. Right now, i would say everyone is expecting stellar earnings (remember how the market prices IN expectations -- very market efficient)
