Plu, surely there must be other stocks to short out there that give you much less risk. I know that you must know of the potential of this company.

Being short in it must be nerve wracking for you. You have no idea of when some big news is going to be released. Not just by EDIG either. You'll have to be watching all of the big 5 music labels for news and everyone of the players in the digital music industry. There are so many of them.

Right now you have to believe that there is a very good chance that there will be a PR from EDIG Monday morning announcing the SDMI membership. Hey I know it is not any big deal that they have become a member but that doesn't matter. The stock has a great chance of rising again anyway.

I know you probably think so what that you will just wait a bit longer for it to come back down again eventually. But there is that possibility that we will be seeing more PRs on a regular basis as we approach content launch date.

For instance, the Sony PR. We knew that they could play the Altrac codec but had not heard officially.

We also have not heard officially that the EDIG design can handle the following codecs, DRMs and DAMs:

MusicMatch, RealNetworks, WMA codec/DRM, AAC codec, Intertrust's DRM, IBM's emm/DRM and MagicGate to name some.

So I believe that eventually and before any players are announced, that we will see a press release for each of those listed above. Add to those a few more PRs about the hiring of a new Director and the SDMI membership and we just might build this base we have here to a nice level before the big OEM press releases come out and give us a fairly high level to launch from.

We have offically heard of QDesigns, Liquid Audio, EPAC and RioPort with press releases.

Another interesting progression to see is in the beginning, the EDIG player was referred to as the EPAC player. Later it was the multicodec player. Then the mulicodec player without transcoding. Then the multicodec multiDRM player. Now we are starting to see that it is not just a portable player. We see the reference to auto stereos, home stereos and wireless phones now.

Even the blip on Webnoise included the sentences:

e.Digital develops a platform for digital audio that it markets to OEMs looking to quickly and easily build portable digital music players, home and auto stereos and wireless phones.

A major selling point of the platform is that it supports a long list of audio formats and digital rights management schemes.

If you have noticed, more and more articles concerning the coming digital music explosion are beginning to talk about multicodec playing capabilities. They so far haven't been mentioning EDIG's player design but they will,[webnoise]. For now they are talking about the confusion with so many different codecs and DRMs. When the word finally gets out about the EDIG design, the Street will begin to think of e.Digital as a coming standard in a rather huge industry.

Do you have any knowledge of the magnitude of market caps for small high tech companies that own a standard?

Read 'The Gorilla Game' and you will know.

I applaud you on your finding and exposing scam companies but you are so so wrong on e.Digital. And I know that you know it. You couldn't possibly not know. Or else you haven't done any DD on this company.

Be watching for those press releases. Sleep tight and don't let the little digital bugs bite. They will inject you with MicroOS venom.
