I very much agree, which is why I'm so pleased that Mountain Lady and Cha2 have initiated a discussion of photonic networking. I believe the two most promising sectors for this decade are wireless and networking, and view both of them as "no brainers". We've had a lot of focus on wireless but largely ignored the networkers up until now. Hopefully ML's Project Hunt effort will help us all (as in ME <gg>) better understand the potential challenges to CSCO, LU, NT, and the other networkers. uf
