victor, With the new CFO joining CPQ is a few weeks ... could it be possible that one of his first responsibilities is to set a a 'tracking stock' for CPQ's investments. It could have a 2-fold benefit: (1) it's a way to share some of these benefits with the shareholders ... I know your thoughts about CPQ's BOD re: not caring about shareholders, and 2) it could be a means by which CPQ, itself & its financial statements & value begin to accrue real acceptance for managing/buying/selling its huge investment portfolio ... so maybe these 'quarterly' sales no longer are discounted when earnings are released but become a permanent earning's fixture. Thoughts ? Michael
