Oh Hi Frank. Didn't I just talk to you elswhere? Again I will ask the question of this group. What do you expect is a reasonable, relatively predicatble rate of return from the buy and hold approach most of us employ? I own several blue chip techs ie INTC, CSCO, ORCL, SUNW, DELL, MSFT, CA, ADPT, PMTC, NVLS, SEG, as well as good growth companies ie PEP, NKE, MO and a few financials. Whenver I do retirement modeling I use a 10.5 rate of return which of course matches the stock market's historical average return. What do most of us expect over the long haul, 10, 15, 20, 25 %??? I am 46 and would like to retire in 5-8 years.

Any opinions regarding your individual expectations relative to percentage returns would be appreciated.
