Interesting article on information appliances from B-Week: businessweek.com Mentions IBM's microdrive, QNTM, others. Manages to omit flash companies like Sandisk. Can't have everything. Still worth reading to indicate some of the potential of the market. It is not doing away with disk drives, though flash memory may suffice for many of the applications. Not enough capacity yet for others.
