Darwin, Robert Friedland was the source of the old DFR returning to the diamond business, "sometime in the future", pronounced this past April at the Atlanta Investment Conference. I have seen pic's of DeBeers rigs, which I take you mean "ships", as they dredge up minerals from the seabed pocket accumulation of diamond materials and sort throught this on the ship. I seem to recall numbers mentioned like they (DeBeers) has six ships doing this off the South East African coast, and that they get about 20% of their production from the seabeds using the ships.. so it is a bonafide way to "mine" diamonds. I attended a private presentation and meeting with the Namco folks and saw and handled the diamonds they dredged up in exploring and sampling and proving up areas to mine. They looked great. Wayne
