Recall as well that the Open of the last 15 minutes of Futures Trading was 7 points lower than the eventual Futures Close. It Opened at 16:00 around 1549.50 and Closed at 1556.50. The SPX did not trade during that time, there was nothing to hedge with. It's just a fifteen minute period, means zip. Right now the Contract is at 1552...... Just an observation.
