Mine: Fuller and the Board see the current situation as "This too shall pass, lunch time".

I don't know. It should be clear to Fuller & the Board that a mistake has been made; the question is do they have the guts to admit the mistake & take corrective action. In my work, when I make a mistake (it has happened once or twice), I try my best to fix it. They should, too. Perhaps they will, perhaps not. I would suggest that their professional futures are on the line.

Yours: They are going to have a lot of explaining to do.

I think they WILL have to explain. It is difficult for me to believe there won't be lawsuits against the Board over this.

I think Merrill's position is abundantly clear. As are those of the the other major shareholders. I do not think Fuller & the Board started off trying to disregard the shareholders' interests; I just think they simply misfired. Eventually, it will be in their own best interests to back out of this deal.

Then, maybe not.
