Great, Jon - this thread really needs more Qualcomm defenders. It's vitally important to have your input.

Let's look at the evolution of the Nokia thread:

Year 1999 - Why does Nokia not have a CDMA strategy? Couldn't Nokia have a CDMA strategy? When will Nokia have a CDMA strategy? TDMA is obsolete! GSM will be displaced in China! Sprint is better than AT&T! Boo-hoo.

Year 2000 - What? Nokia has a CDMA strategy - but it is independent! Why does Nokia not back *Qualcomm's* CDMA strategy? Isn't it true that W-CDMA doesn't really exist... even though there are orders? Isn't it true that cdma2000 does exist... even though there are no orders? How come TDMA is growing at 90% rate? How come GSM is hitting 40 million subs in China? How come AT&T's subcriber addition growth is better than Sprint's? Boo-hoo.

Can't hardly wait for the wailing and teeth-gnashing if Korean operators start placing 1XTREME orders.
