Thanks Edwarda, you're very kind and articulate. Perhaps if you've never experienced a wholesome relationship with a man, it's difficult to believe there are decent ones around. I'm sorry to hear you were raped. That must have been awful. It shows me what strength of character you have, not to have allowed it to effect your overral view of men and life. I would surmise that Lorrie is caught in a deterministic paradigm and has allowed her past experience with men to control her emotions and beliefs today. She was probably a true victim of some horrific experience and has not been able to come to terms with it yet. Easier for her to view all men with disgust, and be a victim her entire life, then face whatever she needs to face. Michael
