your finding pretty much reaffirms that alta will indeed increase their mining
production just as they have stated in a recent press release which stated
that they plan to up production to over 150,000 ounce of gold. i am curious
as to what they are doing with copper flat. copper is holding very strong
and looks to continue to stay that way.

recent price action has me worried a little. your explanation may be part
of the answer, but i don't think it would cut alta's market by almost half.
at 2 3/8, alta has a market cap of 69 million, based on 29 million shares.
it's proven reserves are worth more than that, including the newly issued
debt.

my opinion for the decline is panic! if i recall correctly, this company was
almost solvent a few years ago and with the recent issuance of more debt,
long time holders are a little impatient and dumping. makes for a potential buying
opportunity if i am right. since then, alta has new management and has been
profitable for 11 quarters since.

i will be looking for news and post here if i find any. let's all hope this
is a buying opportunity as that is what i am doing.
