Tele... First I think the products are targeted at enterprise so you're arguement about POP's is pre-mature although you're clearly concerned or you would not have raised it. Second - IP telephony has been around for perhaps 5-6 years at best and saber rattling over and IP telephony world didn't begin until perhaps 2-3 years ago. Seems to me things are happening pretty quickly. Finally, there are issues with IP telephony - no doubt - as there were with circuit switched telephony (and still are today). I suspect these issues will be ironed out as these products are deployed in large enterprises and small ISP's. Soon we'll get a better glimpse of what this all about. I think it's a little early to "laugh at this stuff". Oh... one last thing... who says Cisco gets no respect in the carrier space? Your opinion maybe but I suspect it's your opinion alone. Chambers is very well respected throughout the industry. Please leave your personal feelings at home. OG
