I did. I have argued with JLA both publicly and privately about his lack of tact, I do not ordinarily encourage him. On the other hand, I rarely disagree much with the substantive point. I am nice to all sorts of difficult people, as long as they are nice to me, including, usually, lorrie. I have sometimes felt the situation warranted JLA's style of argument, and only in those limited circumstances have I been encouraging. There is no hypocrisy, only behavior that differs according to circumstance. Surely someone so good with nuance can understand that........
