AT&T's Angel Delivers wirelessweek.com For AT&T, fixed wireless is one of three ways to gain revenue by offering local phone service; cable TV facilities and reselling the local phone company's network are the other two. Wherever AT&T doesn't have cable, it will use fixed wireless to reach some 50 million to 55 million targeted homes. AT&T expects to have the towers and radio capacity to reach 1.5 million homes with fixed wireless by the end of this year, 10 million homes by the end of next year and 15 million by the end of 2002.
