 SPIRE VENTURES LTD. ("SVG-V") - Establishes an Internet Technology Advisory Board
 Spire Ventures Inc., (the "Company") announces thai it plans To establish an Internet Technology Advisory Board. The advisory board's objective will be to identify, analyze and formulate appropriate development strategies for Internet based projects that offer significant growth potential and shareholder value. The Company, in consultation with the advisory board, intends to acquire and incubate such projects. The Company would provide an active role throughout the funding, development and operation stages of the projects.
 
 With the creation of the advisory board, an alliance is being established with Stratford Internet Technologies Inc. www.stratfordinternet.com which is one of Canada's leading strategic Internet communication companies. Established in January 1996, the company has been successful in attracting a high-caliber team of Internet professionals with advanced degrees and training in multimedia design, e-commerce deployment, database programming, Internet/Intranet development audio/video engineering, CD-ROM authoring, Internet marketing and online research. The Team includes a highly skilled group of people with extensive education in marketing, advertising design, computer science, fine arts, and communications. Stratford's commitment to staying at the forefront of technology will help in assisting Spire Ventures Ltd. reach its intended goal of becoming a major e-cubator/developer of tomorrows successful and profitable Internet businesses.
 
 Through the advisory board, Stratford Internet Technologies Inc. will provide Spire Ventures Ltd. information concerning investment opportunities that are vetted through Stratford's e-cubation unit. As several opportunities are being considered at this time, the immediate task at hand for the advisory board will be the review and selection of a company or companies that fit the advisory board's criteria for a successful venture in the field of Internet technology.
 
 Any such acquisition or activity would constitute a change of business under the policies of the CDNX and would be subject to acceptance for the filing with the CDNX.
 
 The Internet Technology Advisory Board will consist of Mr. Justin Malczewski, Mr. Bill Kaleta, Mr. Brian Buchanan and Mr. Guy Brooks.
 
 Mr. Justin Malczewski
 
 Mr. Malczewski was one of the pioneers at Stratford Internet Technologies Inc. through his former role as Vice President, Marketing and Sales. Mr. Malczewski contributed significantly to the company's explosive growth and development. He has an intimate understanding of emerging E-commerce business strategies and in his current role as E-commerce Strategist for Stratford's special projects, he has reviewed and fine-tuned countless Internet business opportunities. Justin is also well experienced at identifying, approaching and developing appropriate strategic partnerships for Internet companies.
 
 Mr.Bill Kaleta
 
 Bill Kaleta is a system analyst and senior programmer with over 14 years experience in the computer industry. He has successfully formed a number of computer companies in the last ten years (KaleBer, TLC, WATEK) and has worked in a wide range of programming positions. Mr. Kaleta's understanding and knowledge of cutting edge Internet and software development for small and large corporations has made him one of the industry leaders in Western Canada. Previously with the NASD OTC BB company (CYPOST) as CIO and Lead Programmer he was instrumental in establishing this company as a leader in the industry.
 
 Mr. Guy Brooks
 
 Guy Brooks is a member of the newly appointed advisory board as well as a Director of Spire Ventures Ltd. Guy Brooks is the President, CEO and Publisher of a multi-media publishing enterprise on the Internet, GreatestEscapes-com Inc., which includes this popular Greatest Escapes Travel WebZine www.greatestescapes.com. He is also the President and a Director for the CDN listed company Derlak Enterprises. This company is developing virtual reality platforms and electronic strategies. Guy brings to the advisory board in-depth experience at project management and Internet business development.
 
 Mr. R. Brian Buchanan
 
 Mr. Buchanan, is currently the President & CEO of Spire Ventures Ltd., he has experience in public companies and a wealth, of business experience in the development of emerging growth companies, including several Internet based businesses. His expertise in marketing and innovative human resource techniques helped in the successful development of several Southeast Asia projects. His corporate background includes being Vice President and Director of marketing for one of Canada's largest insurance brokerages firms. Mr. Buchanan has developed management techniques that could enhance productivity during the start up period of the Company's anticipated projects as well as cultivate valuable relations with local and international business associates. For the past nine years Mr. Buchanan has been the President, C.E.O. of the Asia Group of Companies Holdings Ltd. where he has developed many business relationships globally. He is vice president, and director of a multi-media publishing enterprise or, the Internet. He is also currently Secretary of a rapidly growing Chinese Internet development company based in Singapore.
 
 No agreement in agreement in principal (written or otherwise) to acquire any significant asset or new business has been entered into by the Company at this time.
