Ross Systems Expands Sales to its Customer Base

ATLANTA, March 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Ross Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: ROSS) a leading supplier of enterprise systems and the leading supplier of ERP systems to the mid-tier process manufacturing market, today announced that its new Customer Connect Program was beginning to show solid results. The program is targeted at increasing the level of software and services sold to existing customers. The program combines several key strategies. Each customer has been assigned a Customer Account Representative who orchestrates the activities between the customer and Ross. The CAR navigates the customer to the appropriate Ross resource to facilitate problem and issue resolution. Simultaneously, the CAR becomes much better informed as to the customer's expanding requirements and needs. The combination of this effort with Ross' strategy to increase the breadth of its product and solution offering provides a forum for expanded business with the customer. Ross has introduced a number of new products recently, including a new B2B e-commerce solution for sell side websites, a new Advanced Planning and Scheduling System, a new internet connection architecture, iRenaissance.Portal, as well as many new service offerings. As a result, the company has seen a number of new sales to existing customers over the past two months.

Sachem, Inc., a custom manufacturer of chemical products expanded its agreement for Ross' iRenaissance Enterprise Resource Planning and Supply Chain Management System. Sachem provides high purity chemicals to customers in the semiconductor, polymer, pharmaceutical, catalyst and agricultural-chemical markets. Sachem is headquartered in Austin, Texas.

The world's largest maker of residential wall coverings, the Imperial Home Decor Group, expanded its agreement with Ross, as did Southern Mills, a vertically integrated textile company in Union City, Georgia.

In the food and beverage market, Litehouse, Inc. in Sandpoint, Idaho; meat packer, Moyer Packing Company of Soundertown, Pennsylvania; and Ireland's Kerry Foods all contracted for additional Ross products and services.

In addition, Interim Services in Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Robert Half International in San Francisco; and Macomb County, Michigan all expanded agreements with Ross.
