Scumbria, <It sounds like the AMD 64 bit architecture is fairly innovative as well.> Yes it is, but I was referring to past innovations, since Hmaly seemed to ignore the upcoming Merced, Willamette, and Timna processors as Intel "innovations." Speaking of future innovations, very few people on this thread give much attention to LVT, something that can help AMD make inroads into the high-end server market (i.e. 4-way MP and above).
