Mihaela and Thread- Hey lets here it for good old twisted copper! I wasn't sure what to think with all the optical and Terabeam talk going on in the last few weeks. I kind of forgot about the 900,000,000 worldwide local loops(copper).<g>

Thanks for the article. Nice stats in it for future reference. And it does mention the difference between all fiber customers like businesses, versus consumers who will remain DSL targets. -MikeM(From Florida)

PS Anyone know for certain who supplies Bell Canada with DSL? My best guess is Nortel.
