Hi Triffin,

the people that know me are aware that I do almost everything by feel, logic or because of some psychology associated with a stock. Like I said logic is one criteria and that dictates a couple of things.

1. I will only write calls on a stock I would, or do, love to own.

2. Everything being equal, meaning we are getting a good return of say, 10%, I will try and write stocks that have rotated for whatever reason to the lower side of their price channel. A good example of this is RNWK, it is trading around 74 and when I wrote them for most of my people it was around 68 to 70. In other words and especially on margin, one wants to hold on to as much of the premium as possible and there is a greater risk of not succeeding at this if you write stocks at their highs. Also, rarely will I write just for premium. I almost always write for quality of life and stress reduction and the best stocks for that are those that I am really familiar with and I am not familiar enough with OPTV. One needs to always check on PENDING NEWS with stocks paying a fantastic premium.
