You finally got my point ! Paul, But you haven't gotten my point....when was Sledgehammer started and when was Merced started? If Sledgehammer starts shipping within a year of Merced, AMD will be showing the same kind of design/production prowess as the Japanese have shown in getting a new car model to production faster than anyone else. With Merced Intel has brought new meaning to the term tweaking. ted
