Satyam to offer broadband access to corporates

SATYAM Infoway plans to offer broadband Internet access to its corporate customers beginning next quarter, and it would use both wireless access and digital subscriber line (DSL) technology for the purpose.

Mr. R. Ramaraj, Managing Director, Satyam Infoway, told Business Line that Satyam was in talks with Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT-M) to use corDECT - the wireless technology the institute has developed - which was originally meant for basic rural telephony.
