If JDSU has a tunable laser then it would allow Cisco and others to play catch up faster. Although they would have to rely on JDSU for this key component. Exactly! A big positive for JDSU if they make one. To date I have not read anything indicating so but will continue searching. Maybe a techie on the jdsu thread could help us. I will be very surprised if they didn't see the tuneable laser coming and will miss out on this. 100
