I see AMAT as a long-term hold too, and I am not asking when to sell that. As Warren Buffet syas, if you owned a family business with great growth and great potential, why would you sell it. My problem is when to sell stocks which have topped out, or whose best days are behind them, such as (to cite one painful example), Novell.
