kash, re:<...great opportunity for idiots like ASSHOK to beat up on AMD again on wednseday>

I understand your reasoning here. The k6-2+ is shrounded in unbelievalbe mystery. AFAIK, no one has even tested an engineering sample of it or even seen one, but ZDNet says its coming the end of March. The K6-3+ is alternately killed and then made a high end notebook chip. Well, April is almost here, and no K6-2+ or K6-3+.

Anand said this in today's blurb:
Expect to see a new CPU review on Wednesday, and a pretty hefty graphics accelerator review from Matt later this week as well if everything goes according to plan. And of course we've got the usual review or two to toss in there to mix things up a bit, this week should be fun ;)

The "CPU review on Wednesday" has got to be the Culeron, or whatever they'll call it.

But Hmmm, he's got the usual review or two to toss in there to mix things up a bit.

Is there a chance he has a K6-2+ review all ready to throw in and "mix it up" with Intel?

Optimistically,
Petz
