Besides, I was responding to Hmaly's mistaken notion that nothing innovative comes out of Intel. I can see why you consider my post to be confrontational and not his. He's just echoing what the majority of this thread feels, while I'm the one going against the grain. Guess that makes me the "combative" one.

Apparently you did not go to the post that I highlighted in my last post. In that post, the first in this latest series, you ended it by saying "Tenchusatsu....who likes Intel innovation". Now that's the equivalent of me going to the Dell thread and signing off with "Ted who likes Gateway for the home and office". Now how friendly do you think the Dell posters would be to me?!! Nada would be my expectation.

I have to wonder why people think the successes of AMD and Intel have to be mutually exclusive. Perhaps it's just Jerry Sanders perpetuating that notion, especially as he continues to open his big mouth and whine that Intel doesn't play fair. But for the time being, both INTC and AMD are performing very well. And I'm very sure that both INTC and AMD will rise and fall together with the semi industry. Maybe the sooner people realize this, the sooner we can get rid of the infantile bantering that dominates this thread.

You speak as if the only posters acting infantile are the AMD longs. Capitalizing in the middle of a word in an effort to gain attention is mature? It takes two to make for infantile bantering. Besides one does not forget easily the sh*t Intel longs would put this thread thru last year on a daily basis.....do we forget the alias youless? Its only been since AMD has had some successes and Intel some screw ups that there is more reasonableness in the exchange between the two threads. Ironically you were one of the more reasonable Intel posters last year but with each Intel slip up, your posts have become more strident, combative and harsh.

Now what does that tell us? ;~))
