Funnelshooting??? Is that what it's called??? god, I'm ignorant. I'm pretty sure he didn't do anything like that. I didn't drink in college. At all. And if I had a date who got drunk, I left him and went home. I was disgustingly self-righteous. You know what bothers me the most? That the college seems to accept this as a legit. function. That alcohol is included as PART of the festivities. I know I'm being stupid. And I don't really know what a parent can do. I guess we could have sent him to Oral Roberts or something. I believe in CW and I trust his judgment. I think he'll make good decisions. Still he's 19. A lot of my decisions sucked at 19, now that I think about it. I feel bad that I said anything, becuase chances are he was just getting into the story with me. We both tend to do that when we write to each other. Still--- moms worry. A few weeks ago here in Yuppieville a high school boy almost died of alcohol poisoning. He was at a party in someone's home. THe parents were allowing drinking---WHat were they thinking!!!! This was a very very nice, good kid too. From a terrific family. It scared the hell out of us all. AMmo was NOT there. He's not in the in-crowd. Am I grateful??? Oh yeah.
