I guess William Ryan was a little surprised with today's news as well: "Analyst William Ryan at Salomon Smith Barney downgraded the shares to "outperform" from "buy." "Since we recently discussed the probability of this particular loan being written off, and were made comfortable that it was not an imminent danger, we now prefer to be more cautious with guidance," Ryan said in a note to clients." cbs.marketwatch.com &dist=yhoo I'm sure the lawsuits will follow - but with new burden of proof on plaintiffs I doubt they will amount to much.
