So true we write here to be friendly, share knowledge, have fun, and make money in the stockmarket - it's astounding it needs to be said In Plain English how disruptive juvenile sociopathic head-games on SI aren't amusing to the majority, and aren't wanted here.
I speak for All Techride Friends:
The people on this board - having full busy lives with no time to waste on devo-droid activity online - will gladly answer polite questions as best we can, go out of the way to help new folks feel easy around a cyber-group online, and hopefully make friends and gather much valuable knowledge along the way. And make plenty of money on their own individual stocks while doing so, of course. 909S-R-US !
But no one here wants (or should have to be forced to) "mainstream" with rejectoids seeking to control others trying to script direction of the writings here to fit it into their own socially - disordered "gestalts" ...
... and no one here is willing to give satisfaction when it's at cross-pursposes to our own. And if paid for - it's at our expense. So No. We Were Here First.
Blue, you started this thread - and I wrote the first post on it. Would like to add just two thoughts to yours:
1) Anyone who wants to change the tone of this thread, is requested to take the easy option of starting another forum elsewhere on SI instead of disturbing ours.
2) Anyone who won't heed this polite request/warning is seen as a varmint trespassing in our space - Lookout.
Blue, I've written down the post # of Your Classic, and it would be a good reminder to put on here every now and then. Because everyone does have An Agenda - obviously some not so simple as make money on stocks, share and have fun. Around SI and elsewhere online (financial subjects in even more tension than politics religion etc. - now why would that be ?!$) it's clear some are like oil and water around the same boards for many reasons. No sense in trying to mix on a thread not intended for argument, either. SI's got plenty of those. Different strokes for Different folks.
It's been like ... (extreme example) busting @$$ to get into such as M.I.T. Stanford Duke Harvard or Princeton, only to be assigned a 12 year old hyper kid as a roommate - what a crashing bore. Naaah.
