Yes, Frank, I agree with you. While re-reading the book this weekend, I though of another example of Intel acting like a gorilla. When it changed the chip packaging from Socket 7 (in which the chip is placed face down) to the new architecture, which has the chip placed side-down AMD had to change their packaging in order to be compatible with Intel motherboards (Intel, I might add, rules this area of the market as well).
