we'll see. The AMD/INTC wars are so bitter and rely so heavily on such technical expertise that I have no hope of arriving at an independent opinion on the merits of the case. So, having paid my money, I'm now going to take my chances.

Perhaps, but perhaps not. I expect this quarter to be excellent, the next quarter possibly a bit slower. My real concern is less Franq's than Lindy's: AMD's execution has all too often been lousy in the past, and to take advantage of the opportunity before them they'll have to break that pattern.

BTW, for all SNDK investors out there, I gather AMD's flash operations are looking very good...
