The weekly 10-ROC also provides another interesting picture of the possible extension higher. As a trend follower this move looks similar to April 97.

For major trend indicators, I've been looking at using a combination to uncover directions. Mix of 25 and 40 ma's + Macd + ROC + OBV + Stochastics and of course chart patterns.
Using Monthly, Weekly and Daily. All of these are very positive and look like April 97.

I'll bet this latest surge does not please Greenspan.
He's got to be worried about Japan, both historically and tomorrow.
