John G: Like wow ! Huge news re MOT settlement. Onward and upward ! This is rational exuberance Ramsey, not the type that Greenspan mouths off about (absurdly IMO). To me for one, the MOT agreement is the final nail in the coffin of the CDMA disinfo and FUD specialists. It should (but may not, having observed MOT's incompetence over the years) removed MOT from the FUD game. That leaves the FUD game to Nokia. (And DoCoMo in Japan) And again, I for one think the handwriting is on the wall for Nokia. The Asians are coming. It is just a matter of time until Nokia sinks into the sunset. (or some such). What Nokia does re the Q's chips is irrelevant long term. Signing up might be a short term psychological boost for the Q but of no import in the long run. The brute fact is that Nokia has wounds which were self inflicted. Probably not fatal - but life threatening. As always, just my somewhat eclectic opinion. Chaz PS and "1XTREME" is now exposed for what it was - a bargaining chip - nada mas.
