"Distance Learning Over the Internet" project being built for Southeast Asian Country

Project in line with company's strategic direction

Radyne ComStream (NASDAQ SC:RADN)(Warrants: RADNW) Monday announced an initial contract to supply the satellite communications systems in support of a Southeast Asian government's "Distance Learning Over the Internet" project. The network will employ Radyne ComStream's Internet-over-Satellite technology.

Radyne ComStream is providing a turnkey, end-to-end solution for the project that will provide Internet access to a large number of schools and universities in this Southeast Asian country. The company reports the value of the initial contract to be in excess of $740,000. It is believed that there will be additional follow on contracts.

In announcing the contract, Bob Fitting, Radyne ComStream's president and chief executive officer, said, "This project continues to validate our stated strategy to support the Internet-over-Satellite market.
