Novell "Gets" Smart: Meet "Steve" Adams....

>>"We are in the infrastructure business, and we intend to be the same kind of marketplace gorilla as [a company like Cisco Systems Inc. ].

"It's important you realize that today is the beginning of the next phase in our history," Adams continued. "There is no one company -- despite what they tell you -- that can deliver on this. ... I want to get better at helping you to explain to your bosses what Novell does and why it's important.">>

Sounds like they have been feeling the energy and reading the virtual tea leaves on SI and elsewhere.

Toy's energy and excitement combined with the brief report about Steve Adam's performance is all I needed to convince me that Eric DID in fact execute the necessary changes in Novell's marketing strategy.

I will eat humble hat and paint my hair green and wear GO!!! T-Shirts to help Steve and Eric and others kick the doors down on this "NEW" Novell which I believe is fast emerging.

Congratulations Eric!

My trust and faith has been restored.

In Steve Adams, you seem to have successfully used external forces to execute an internal "takeover."

Now I understand why you want to step aside and keep things simple. It's time to pass the baton to the true revolutionary who will turn the all the hot-tubs of the world upside down - and in honor of Toy - and then rightside up.

Now it's time to roll up our sleeves, join hands and spread this gospel of connectivity, cooperation, collaboration and communication worldwide.

Let's not forget, forgiveness is a virtue.

Perhaps there's a hallway with a series of Nelson-powered slamming doors Steve and Eric may want me to walk through when and if they let me in the front door.

I'd be extremely happy to oblige.

Peace.

GO!!

BTW: Where does Toy end up? - inside or under the hottub??
