cAPSLOCK, TI's DSP is an encoder/decoder. Using it without EDIG's design or a comparable one would yield the same disastrous results and reviews that Sony recently had with their player. It now seems that Sony's hope for a widely accepted player using ATRAC3 lies with EDIG.
