Tom - True; but somehow I just can't see losing the keypad. If you were in a high-noise environment, and wanted to send email, you might need it. Ditto for a quiet area (funeral, speech, movie). Finally, I have found, using Dragon Dictate, that sometimes it just can't get the word right, and you have to input with the keyboard.
From a strictly personal point of view, I think I'd be more comfortable with a keyboard backup.
It's still early days in all this, though. You may be right, Tom.
