John, I thought we knew that the Busang area had no history of locals mining anything in terms of alluvial deposits, unlike Kelian or Mt. Muro where there are 20,000+ locals surrounding each of those properties scraping out a decent existence in the rivers and streams.

Another problem that faces exploration companies worldwide in developing countries is getting transient miners off your claims once gold has been discovered. Again Bre-X did not have to contend with this issue on any scale.

I have been led to believe that the reasons for the lack of locals on Busang is because this was somehow a ddifferent kind of deposit and that gold wouldn't appear anywhere as alluvial. Only in small grades in the hardrock, making it uneconomical for the little guy.

Correct me if I am wrong.
