OX, I made a few calls and it appears that most firms will take the kind of order that Dave wants but don't expect any price improvement. I don't do covered writes so I have not tried this type of order. I certainly don't recommend legging out/in either but for what Dave wants I think that this is the only way to get the price he wants. Curious as why Dave did covered write versus naked put.
