I'm hoping that a hardcore FDX follower can help me out here. I have found an RFP for a Business Opportunity that starts like this InformationWeek and FDX International Transmission Corp. (FITC), a wholly owned subsidiary of FDX Corp., invite potential suppliers to submit proposals to FITC with a network appliance solution. FITC is a communications technology integration services company developing plans to implement Internet service provider services to employees of FITC and possibly other affiliated enterprises. The potential combined employee base represents a population of more than 140,000... informationweek.com The finalists for this were HP, NCD, and Wyse. I have circumstantial evidence that NCD may be a big winner in this contract...if in fact it is for real. The RFP seems real, and the proposals from the companies seem serious. It's just that I haven't heard anything else and I wonder if it was all a mock competition. If it is for real, it's a MAJOR deal. Can any of you FDX followers dig something up to confirm or deny this? Much thanks in advance. Jim
