My take on GNET

taken from my archive at genexreview.ewebpromo.com
6 mos. target= $130

Strap yourself in for this one. GNET is managed by Paul Allen. Microsofts co-founder who also
runs recently public CHTR or Charter communications. CHTR is a holding
company of sorts which will be building and buying chunks of America's
digital pipeline. Kind of like @home and AT&T and Ecite. Get the picture,
if not Paul Allen does. Now CHTR is gonna be putting up the money to make
some expensive magic happen while GNET will be reaping the benefits of
this expensive pipeline. CHTR is recently a bit off it's lackluster IPO.
The main reason is fear. Wall St. fears the unknown and Allen hasn't dealt
his deck yet. so if you are along for the ride I'd say buy GNET today and
keep a watchful eye on CHTR.

After all at a 2 Billion dollar price tag and a large chunk of net traffic
this one is really cheap. They also do a bit of Business through their
Hypermart which really is something special. If you haven't seen it, go
there and check it out. Recently on my favorite web commentary, Steve
Harmon's mailbag on the CNBC website ,he likened Paul Allen's situation to
a card game and mentioned," it may be tough for Allen to play them all
together". I agree with Steve and if I had to pick a card before the game
begins it would be an Ace like GNET.
