Harris: I know there are "day-trading" firms one can open an account with (MB Trading, Whatley, etc) and regular internet brokerages (E-Trade, Datek) - what's the difference? That's a very good question. I admit to being biased, but this is an excellent resource for us all to refer to and learn from consisting of the wisdom of dozens of successful market players on this thread.
