maybe an absurdly high valuation had something to do with it?

So by the same measure, the stock was "absurdly" undervalued back when it was $20...?

More like, the stock had many sellers today, probably a short term movement like so many others this stock has, up and down (and more up that down over it's life). Perhaps some of the sales were initiated in anticipation of OPEC opening the floodgates, thus reducing the perceived pressure to fund alternative energy initiatives. IMO, the environmental attractiveness (and ultimately the purely economic advantages) will continue to draw positive attention to alternative energy technologies.

100% earnings growth predicted this year, and 50% revenue growth predicted over the coming four years. This by the CEO. I wonder if he would be more likely to (a) overestimate the future prospects of his company, or (b) under-estimate these future prospects.

Given that solar power production is expected to continue to grow, any predictions on when we'll see a $1B market cap for APWR? How about $2B?
