Very interesting market action.

Perhaps the street smells something which in my premature enthusiasm I may have missed in this turn about.

Novell has put on a show, but people aren't buying.

I just got an email from an individual attending BrainShare. He gave me a quick whiff of the negativity that's floating around the Salt Palace for my remarks.

I appreciate this opinion, but I don't need him or anyone else feeling pain for me for quite frankly I don't care what these guys think. People hate simple messages. Moreover, people hate it when someone like me continues to beat the same drum.

All I can say is get used to it.

I'd be angry, too, if I derived my power and meaning from a dark, smoked filled room and someone tried to turn on the lights and open up the window.

This is all just politics. Just like a year ago, perhaps the engineer's are once again killing the Golden Goose with more negative, power/control energies as they well up and lay claim to more energy from others during this proud moment. Novell could be so great, but intelligence without awareness and empathy eats corosively away at the heart and soul energy which drives everything.

If this is what's going on then perhaps the turn won't happen after all. Positive, exciting marketing in such an environment doesn't stand a chance.

My support is for Eric to remain resolute and see this transition/transformation through. We will have to just wait and see.
