Hi Joe, Thanks for that bit of rationality. Frankly I just don't understand some folks. If it was so easy to write another file management system that can do what MicroOS does, why hasn't anyone else done it??? God knows they have had plenty of time. Intel scrapped their system for ours and you have to believe they have the programmers to write one in a very short time frame. James Laboda told me the reason companies are not writing their own is because flash will only be around for 5 - 6 years and it just isn't worth their while to do it. That just might leave lil ol EDIG in the drivers seat for a bit.... Cheers. Bob
