Pascal. If you had looked closer at the Wall Street Journal NYSE Most
Actives tables, you would have noticed an "X" along side of MO. And if
you read below the table, you would see that MO had a $1 dividend go ex
on 6/12/96. This is where the extra $1 is coming from for your $1 1/2.
But as I stated to you in the previous table I sent, the DOW is calculated
using PRIMARY exchange, meaning they use trades strictly from NYSE.
So for the calculation of the DOW, MO went from 103 5/8 on Tuesday
to 103 3/4 on Wedneday----a change of 1/8 towards the DOW.

Hope this helps, and please more more open-minded that other people
