Two years ago I was lucky to get a large bonus from work and investing it along with part of my monthly paycheks in MRVC, COHU and AMD. I am planning on buying a house 100% cash! The point is, as good as AMD looks now, you can get wiped out clean. Again I am not saying find 20 stock with similar potential as AMD, but you do not limit your gains if you find 3 or 4 good stocks.
