Hello, Steve, I just thought I'd pop up here and make a tiny correction to your post:>> In the old days, they used a mercury leaching process to dissolve out the gold. <<

There are only 2 processes that dissolve gold, period: Cyanide and Aqua Regae.

Mercury ATTRACTS gold much like a liquid magnet, it does NOT leach nor dissolve gold.

It is an easy process to retrieve the gold from the internal and external mercury "button," (I have a button of same sitting in my pan now, and under magnification, it is quite easy to see the various gold specks sitting rather firmly on the external curvature of the mercury button) and then retrieve the mercury, --by either condensation or another process which I mucho prefer--- back into its quicksilver state.

Just thot you'd like to know the truth from a genuine wily ole prospector!

Have a great weekend, and good luck in your various micro-cap gold adventures and investing in general.
