With ScanCart(TM), PlanetRx.com becomes the first and only e-commerce site to offer scanner functionalities that enable
customers to scan bar codes of products that are available on PlanetRx.com, and then upload the products for purchase from the website. Customers can scan the items from wherever they choose -- home, office -- anywhere they have access to the products they wish to order from PlanetRx.com.

ScanCart(TM) is the first e-commerce implementation where consumers and businesses can purchase health and wellness
products over the Internet with scanner technology. ScanCart(TM) Shopping allows PlanetRx.com customers to use the CS 2000, an intuitive keyfob-shaped bar-code scanner from Symbol Technologies, to streamline the online shopping process. Rather than having to navigate through product categories and product lists, consumers scan bar codes of their favorite products, and simply download that information to their computer. In one step, the customer's PlanetRx.com shopping cart automatically fills with the scanned products, and with the click of a button, the customer's order is placed.
The ScanCart(TM) Shopping service is easy to install on the average home PC. Currently, PlanetRx.com is offering
ScanCart(TM) Shopping service to purchase over-the-counter health and beauty products. When the customer completes the
check out process, the products are shipped immediately. Currently the CS 2000 consumer scanner is available exclusively through the PlanetRx.com website.
