StarTeam Delivers Web Interface, Secure Internet and Remote Access for eHealthcare Leader
StarBase Corporation SBAS , a leading provider of eCollaboration solutions for the development and management of eBusiness, announced today that Imageon Solutions, a provider of Internet enabled diagnostic medical imaging solutions, has adopted StarTeam to manage the Web development of eHealth imaging solutions.
The selection of StarTeam has enabled Imageon wide access to all information, including process and procedure documents, stored in StarTeam, and the ability for developers to remotely access software applications, significantly increasing productivity and dramatically improving time-to-market.
Maintaining a centrally located repository was critical to the Imageon development team who work on-site at customer facilities, requiring remote multi-level access to the server from across the nation. After a thorough evaluation of many competing products, StarTeam was found to be the only product that offered the Internet Web access and the performance level Imageon required.
StarTeam was therefore selected as the new Imageon corporate standard for all source code development for the Imageon line of eHealth imaging solutions.
The Imageon selection process also found that StarTeam uniquely provided superior management of both source code and content. Therefore, in addition to picking StarTeam as the standard for source code control, StarTeam was selected as Imageon's site management solution, controlling all HTML pages, content and downloads.
As a result of implementing StarTeam, Imageon has realized a dramatic increase in productivity among developers, providing them with a competitive advantage in their marketplace.
